GSN is modeled after premier college preparatory schools located within the United States.  The school’s curriculum is based upon the American Education Reaches Out (AERO) academic standards. The four core academic areas of instruction are English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. The school’s curriculum is delivered in a systematic manner by qualified teachers, utilizing imported textbooks and classroom resources. Additionally, all students attend classes in physical education, technology, art, music, dance and library research.

At the heart of Georgia School Ningbo is a dedicated, inspiring and highly qualified faculty. The GSN teaching team is comprised of 30 foreign teachers and 5 Chinese language teachers. Foreign teachers hold teaching credentials from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and other English-speaking countries. The majority of the school’s teachers are American citizens. All subject area teachers hold teacher certifications and degrees within their area of specialty and 53% of GSN teachers hold advanced degrees. On average, a GSN teachers possess 12 years of professional teaching experience. All teachers deliver the school’s curriculum in a creative, vibrant and engaging manner to students.

GSN utilizes the Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA), Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) assessment tool to gauge student progress towards expected curricular outcomes. GSN is authorized by the US College Board to offer Advanced Placement (AP) courses and tests for high school students within an onsite testing center.  Students from grades 8-12 participate in PSAT and SAT examinations as an key component of the university admissions process.

经美国西北测评协会（NWEA）和美国大学理事会（College Board）授权，学生参加与美国学校同步的考试，以及PSAT、SAT和AP在校考试。毕业证等同于美国本土中学颁发的证书，在全球范围内受到认可。

GSN’s After School Activites Program consists of a range of extracurricular options including sporting, academic, artistic, technology oriented and cultural activities. All GSN students are expected to participate in ASAs each week. ASA students compete in tournaments, contests and fairs such as Model United Nations, Debate competitions, Kids Read and athletic tournaments. GSN is proud to offer students ASA access to a professionally designed skatepark/pumptrack and a golf driving range.

The school’s Guidance Counselor facilitates college planning and student career decision-making. Additionally, the GSN Guidance Office oversees the school’s Tribes program and attends to the social, emotional and learning needs of students across all grade levels.

学校升学指导中心为每位学生配备升学老师，全程一对一指导，制定适合孩子的升学规划。迄今为止，我校毕业生已收到包括杜克大学、纽约大学、伦敦大学学院、爱丁堡大学、清华大学、多伦多大学等全球排名前30的顶尖大学录取通知书。
