乔治亚（小学部）课程体系以及评估

The school’s curriculum is based upon the American Education Reaches Out (AERO) academic standards. The four core academic areas of instruction are English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. The school’s curriculum is delivered in a systematic manner by qualified teachers, utilizing imported textbooks and classroom resources. Additionally, all students attend classes in physical education, technology, art, music, dance and library research.

学校课程以AERO课程框架为核心，采用外教全英文教学，着重培养学生语言能力、思辨能力、创新思维、团队合作的能力，塑造孩子自信健康的人格，为日后进入海外顶尖大学并成为具有国际视野的优秀世界公民打下基础。学校引进以美国共同核心州立标准为基础的优质国际课程，开设英语、数学、科学和社会学四门核心学科，以及图书馆、美术、音乐、表演、体育、信息技术等课程。

Assessment System

Jupiter System: 

The Jupiter system pays more attention to the growth of children. Parents and students can log in regularly to know the recent performance. Unlike traditional grades, the Jupiter system pays more attention to the growth of children.

JUPITER系统是学校动态关注孩子成长的一个系统，家长和学生均可定期登录查询孩子近期的表现，与传统体制不同的是，JUPITER系统更加关注孩子的过程性成长评价。

 

The Jupiter system mainly includes four categoty:Classwork&Homework(40%)/Essay&Project(20%)/Test/Quizzes(20%)/Participation(20%)

Jupiter系统主要通过四大类来评估孩子的成长：课堂及课后作业（占比40%）、论文&项目(占比20%)、考试测试（占比20%）、平时参与度(占比20%)

 

MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) 中小学同步测试

• An internationally recognized examination designed to inform instruction.

• At GSN, MAP assessments are administered twice per academic year in October and May.

At GSN,violin,cello,golf and skateboarding are compulsory courses to help children cultivate their sentiments and strengthen their bodies. All GSN students are expected to participate in ASAs each week. ASA students compete in tournaments, contests and fairs such as Model United Nations, Debate competitions, Kids Read and athletic tournaments.

 2023年招生计划（小学部）

1.招生对象（G1-G6)  Enrollment Target

①在中国境内合法居留的外籍人员子女

②省内合法居留的香港、澳门特别行政区和台湾地区居民

③在境外依法定居的中国公民的子女（有绿卡身份的中国公民）

Children holding foreign passports legally residing in China who are physically and mentally healthy are invited to enroll. Through the approval of the Zhejiang Province education Bureau, children who are residents of Hong Kong, Macao Special Administrative Regions, and Taiwan that are legally residing in Zhejiang Province, Chinese citizens who are legally residing abroad can enroll. 

G1: 招收2个班，每个班额20人以内

G6: 招收1个班，班额20人以内

其他年级段根据剩余班额，接受少量插班生

 

2.入学考试内容  Entrance Examination

小学部入学考试分为笔试、面试两部分

2 Make an appointment for admission enrollment

①方式1：参与学校举办的大型校园开放日进行笔试及面试

②方式2：单独预约访校进行笔试及面试

 

3 Notification of admission results

在考试结束的3个工作日内，工作人员将相关结果告知考试，如果通过学校笔试及面试，则寄发录取通知书

 

4 Go through the admission procedures

根据学校相关入学要求，办理入学手续
