美达菲家长课堂主题讲座系列活动第一场。

为了能带给同学们一次生动有趣而又有意义的分享，家长们从立意、选材、备稿等方面做了充分的准备，并制作了精美的演示文稿。在分享会现场，“家长教师们”慷慨激昂地阐述自己的职业观，生动形象地讲述自己的职业经验，自然而然的吸引着学生，台上台下不时互动交流。

The parents' career class is the first event in a series of parents' class. In order to bring students a lively, interesting and meaningful sharing, parents have made full preparation in conceiving the suitable topics, selecting materials, giving handouts, and making PPTs etc. During the sharing session, parents became teachers for the students, expounding their career views and talking about their professional experience in a vivid way. Besides, students at the lecture stage listened carefully and exchanged their feelings with each other, and the applause on the spot came one after another.

首先开讲的是高三Sally同学的爸爸，徐爸爸从事进出口贸易工作多年，有非常丰富的外贸工作经验，本次跟同学们就进出口贸易的流程，以及农产品出口贸易的营销链条和贸易形式做了详细的介绍，还给同学们分享了我们日常食用的水果和蔬菜进出口加工的过程，让同学们涨了不少见识。

Sally's father is the first one to speak. Mr. Xu has been engaged in import and export trade for many years and has very rich experience in foreign trade. This time, he talked to the students about the trade process of import and export, and the marketing chain and trade form of agricultural export trade. He gave a detailed introduction and shared with the students the import and export process of the fruits and vegetables we eat daily, which gave the students a lot of knowledge.

古人云“闻道有先后，术业有专攻”，对于处于高中阶段的同学们，要去学习和规划的事情很多，就像今天请来的家长张经理在课堂上的分享："我所从业的行业是建筑工程，在这一大行业链下需要各行各业的参入和配合，才能完成一个工程，例如一座大楼的建成，涉及原材料的选用，设计师的规划和设计，各种设备和工具的使用，工人的劳动力，以及一整套的工作流程和管理，每一个方向都需要专业的人士来进行配合完成，涉及的知识方方面面。同学们需要选择自己感兴趣的行业，并为之储备足够的知识和本领，才能成为这一行业的精英。

The old saying goes that one might have learned the doctrine earlier than the other, or might be a master in his own special field. For students in high school, there are many things to learn and plan. Just like the content shared by Mr. Zhang, the parent invited today, who works in construction engineering. Under this large industry chain, it requires the participation and cooperation of all walks of life to complete a project, such as the completion of a building, involving the selection of raw materials, the designer’s planning and design, various equipment and tools, the labor force of workers, and an integrate set of work processes and management. Each direction requires professional personnel to cooperate and complete, involving all aspects of knowledge. Therefore, students need to choose the field they are interested in and reserve enough knowledge and skills to become the elite of this field.

接下来分享的是Lucy同学的爸爸, 吴爸爸一直专注于动漫行业，创立了自己的工作室，对中外文化的见解非常敏锐，跟同学们分享了在目前这一大环境下，从文化产业发展这一主线，结合现有的动漫产品，剖析了美国动漫的发展优势及特点，以及中国动漫产业有待学习和提升的方方面面，引发了同学们的深入思考。

Next comes Lucy's father Mr. Wu. Mr. Wu has been focusing on the animation industry and founded his own studio. He has a keen insight into Chinese and foreign cultures. From the main line of cultural industry, combining with existing animation products, he analyzed the development advantages and characteristics of American animation, as well as all aspects of China's animation industry that need to be learned and improved, which triggered in-depth thinking among the students.

本次家长课堂通过精心设计、积极组织，家长们的大力支持，取得了很好的效果。对于即将出国深造的准留学生们，当面对抉择时，他们迫切需要老师、家长们的正确引导，从自己终身发展的角度去选学校选专业，从而作出有利于个人发展的选择。本次活动提升了同学们对各行各业的认识、建立发展愿景、明确自己未来努力的方向等；同时加深了孩子们对父母工作的了解与理解，对形成良好的亲子关系具有一定的作用。相信即将走出国门的同学们在接下来的“家长课堂”主题系列讲座中一定会取得更多意想不到的收获。

The parents' career class has achieved good results through careful design, active organization and strong support from parents. For international students who are about to go abroad for further studies, when facing with a choice, they urgently need the correct guidance from teachers and parents to choose a major and university from the perspective of their lifelong development, so as to make choices that are conducive to personal development. This activity enhanced the students' understanding of all walks of life, established a vision for development, and clarified the direction of their future efforts. At the same time, it deepened the children's understanding of their parents' work, and played a certain role in forming a good parent-child relationship. I believe that students who are about to go abroad will gain more unexpected results in the next parents’ career class.
